Actually, I believe his favorite tune is "I was Born Under a Wandering Star" as sung by Lee Marvin in Paint Your Wagon. . . . (Which I have always found alternatingly poignant and ironic since Dad has always been nothing if not a steadfast and dependable father and husband.)
BTW, I have never requested a re-write of the insanely unflattering versions of myself that crop up in your work. I do understand literary license and recognize the humor in the less attractrive aspects of my personality. Besides the only time "I" have been cast so far, Gina Gershon played me, which more than made up for the unflattering character portrayal!

I'm working on a feature that I'm trying to get produced. One of the scenes is taken directly from an event that happened between me and a friend. As it turns out, I have cast that friend as the character based on him. He hasn't read the scene yet but I am a bit concerned about what will happen when he does. How does an actor play an asshole version of himself doing something he once did?
